The Tarot
Tarot originated as a card game played by European nobility in the 15th and 16th centuries. In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, mystics and occult scholars began layering symbolic meaning into the deck. Drawing from Kabbalah, astrology, alchemy, and Christian symbolic structures, they wove in numerology, the elements, color, and natural—often referred to as “pagan”—symbolism. Through this rich synthesis, tarot evolved into a universal system that acts as a mirror, reflecting our inner reality.
Thus, modern tarot was born: a system of 78 mirrors—each card reflecting a different aspect of ourselves.
Like most intuitive arts, tarot is not meant to predict the future. It is meant to reveal the truth. By reading the symbolism within the cards, we gain insight into ourselves, bringing into awareness what is asking to be seen or understood. At times, tarot affirms something you already know; at other times, it illuminates what may have been overlooked. Either way, the process brings you to a place where intuition meets truth, helping each person discover their own most aligned path forward.

In my tarot readings, I do not tell the future or focus on what is going to happen. Instead, I interpret the symbolism of the cards to offer practical, usable intuitive guidance. One of the strengths of this type of reading is its ability to get to the heart of what is truly happening in your life or within a particular situation. The cards do not focus on what you want to hear; they focus on the truth—what is present, what is influencing you, and what is asking for awareness or change. From this place of clarity, our wok together brings insight and conscious choice, helping you move forward with greater understanding and trust in yourself.
